Due to an ear infection in Laney's right ear, we were off to the doctor's office for a follow-up appointment. (She got a great report, only for the infection to come back a few days later - but we've got that under control too!) While we were there, her pediatrician wanted to go ahead & do her 6 month well-checkup....fine by me! She's growing so fast! She's sitting up on her own, laughing at everything, smiling when you walk into a room & the list goes on! He gave her a great bill of health! Gave her the green light to begin eating baby food every meal, losing a bottle from her schedule & trying new foods from the table (with the obvious exceptions). We were thrilled w/ her progress & astonished by how much she has grown!!
Our little one is now 18 lbs. 14 oz (95th percentile) and 28 1/4" long (97th percentile)!! Wow! The nurse said her height was "off the chart"...literally! She also received 4 shots that day (poor baby), with one of them being her flu shot! She did great & returned home to take a nice l-o-n-g nap!! When she woke up, I got some cute pictures of her...she was so happy! She loves the camera & makes us laugh every single day! We're so blessed to be the parents of this sweet baby girl!
