I just wanted to share some photos of our sweet Laney these days. She's now 8 1/2 months old! Gosh, that's so hard to 
believe!! She's now eating "table" food, laughing out loud (especially at Murphy), sleeping on her tummy, raising her arms when you go to pick her up , babbling about everything (dada, mama, gigi, & the sounds go on). She has even learned to clap her hands!! Laney loves to hold anything & everything and loves any kind of jewelry you might be wearing (ladies, watch out...she loves anything that sparkles!!) She's so adorable & growing so fast! She's changing every day and we're so happy she belongs to us! 
A few weeks ago, Mic & I took Laney to meet dear 'ole Santa Claus! I wasn't surprised that she was very interested in him - she took a liking to his long, white beard! Laney had a very inquisitive look the entire time she was on his lap, though content, we didn't see many smiles (I wonder what she was thinking??). She told him of the many things she dreamed of for Christmas 
(balls, a push toy, stacking cups, etc.) Santa informed us that he had checked his list & made sure that everything she asked for was there. Santa even told Mic that she said she wanted a mini set of golf clubs...ha! We did some shopping that day & ate lunch together as a family. We hope to make this a tradition for many years to come! 
Unfortunately, we only get to see them maybe once a year, so this was a real treat for everyone! 
here in Charlotte! The Panthers played awesome & we had so much fun with Jack & Raegan! Yes, it was cold, but we managed to stick it out! Considering we spent the first half of the game in the suite where it was nice & toasty & all the food and drink you could ever want, we really had nothing to complain about! We saw many of our friends at the game and had a great time!! Let's pray that the Panthers continue playing as well as they did that night! Thanks again Raegan! We love you & GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
We ate lunch at my Aunt & Uncle's house (everything was sooooo delicious!!) & then sat around catching up on life! We're all so busy these days, so it was nice to actually sit & talk with everyone! Unfortunately, my cousin Kayla had to spend her Thanksgiving in the hospital. Baby Hayden had put her on bed rest for many weeks and she had had many complications, but he joined our world that Saturday! He weighed in at 6lbs. 1 oz. & boy is he a cutie! So tiny and so innocent! Congratulations Kayla & Trent!!
In all, it was a wonderful day & many memories were made! Laney was exhausted by the time we got in the car, but luckily for us, she slept all the way back to Charlotte! We have so much to be thankful for - a healthy, beautiful baby girl, our loving families, our phenomenal friends, and most of all each other! God has blessed us beyond what we ever could have imagined & it was great being able to give him thanks on this special day!
She is now eating meals in her high chair & letting us know which foods she likes and which foods she does not! She is becoming very independent when it comes to food. She wants to feed herself & wants what you're eating!! The other night she even ate lasagna!!
