Okay, so mom's been a little slack...okay A LOT slack in keeping our blog updated! I promise, now that we're back into our routines (& moved back in) - I will do better! For now, I'm going to update you on our busy summer!
Let's see...we spent a lot of time at the pool, our dear friend's Lisa & Lyn moved into the neighborhood, we traveled to the beach a few times, visited Badin Lake w/ friends, went to Books-n-babies at the library on Tuesdays, slept in most mornings, cooked out w/ great friends, visited our families, and traveled to Maryland to stand beside my best friend as she got married.
Now on to specifics - Laney is now walking everywhere, practically running! She began walking Father's Day weekend (what a special present for daddy!), she loves to brush her teeth, loves to give kisses, signs for "more" and "all done", her vocabulary is growing by the day (mama, dad, dog, truck, more, cat, ball, papa, mimi, baby, shoe, bye-bye). She recently got her incisor teeth, her hair is growing faster than we can keep up w/ it, she's obsessed w/ her hairbows & mommy's bracelets, loves books, loves her blankets, squeals
when it's bath time, and thinks Murphy truly hung the moon!
She's adorable & becoming more & more fun every day! We go for rides in the wagon every night after dinner & she loves stopping to talk to the neighbors. Her tastes are expanding & she'll eat just about anything!
We're so blessed to be her parents & we're looking forward to a wonderful school year - she's one of the "big" kids at school this year!! Although she won't be sleeping in until 9am anymore (made for an awesome summer), I know we have lots to look forward to! Time, don't fly by too fast - we're having so much fun & loving every minute spent w/ our precious Laneybug!!
